Our current Client base is very broad and we provide discrete support to children aged from 15 years, adolescents, adults, Veterans with a Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA card), and additionally Clients with a Work Cover Qld (WCQ) or insurance claim, in the treatment of mental health issues and psychological problems.
Our Clients receive evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), in addition to other appropriate interventions and we are able to assist our clients with a diverse range of issues in their everyday lives, such as:
- Adjustment issues, such as major life events, such as pregnancy, childbirth, marriage, separation, divorce, ageing, retirement, or new career
- Depression and Depressive symptoms
- Anxiety related issues, including phobias, anxiety, obsessions and compulsions
- Assistance with obesity or weight management issues
- Career and employment issues, such as redundancy, retirement, or workplace restructuring
- Coping with disabilities or physical health conditions
- Coping with step-parent families
- Gambling issues
- Grief and loss issues, including the loss of loved one or the loss of a relationship
- Communication issues such as interpersonal conflict, aggression, family breakdown, step-parent families
- Relationship issues
- Parenting concerns
- Self-confidence, self-image, self-esteem and body image
